Jack 'o lantern

What would Halloween be without carving a good Jack 'o lantern?
We laughed in good company with Tanja and Simon as we did our best creating our pumpkin creations.
Too much fun to describe...and too good of company to express. We really love and cherish the friendship we have with Tanja & Simon....for us they are more then friends, they are FAMILY.

Knie Circus

Last Saturday we went to the Swiss National Knie Circus as a Family. Bode loved seeing all the animals and performers and we loved seeing him be so happy. There is no greater feeling as a parent then to know that your child feels the love you have for them.

I've mentioned before that Bode has an ear for music and rhythm...and once again he proved that to be true. The entire 2 1/2 hr. he was the one getting our section of the crowed clapping! It is darling and amazing all at once!

We really cherished the day....and spoiled ourselves good. Popcorn, ice cream, roasted chestnuts, even a stop at McDonald's (that's big when you live in G'wald..no they are not found on ever corner here...thank goodness) and lots of laughing. We realized that this will most likely be the last outing we have as a three-some....so we enjoyed our time with Bode that much more. He is a wonderful boy....we know how lucky we are to have him in our family!

What in the World.....

Happy Haunting!

Once again, I've tried to culturize our little Swiss community and what better way to do it then to throw a Halloween Party for Bode and his friends. (man..they think we're crazy! I just laugh.)

Here is my "little Cow". Looks like he has spent some time around a 9 month pregnant mama...love the pose.
P.S.Dear Adi,
I'm sorry to break it to you this way.....but there's another woman moving in on your man. Little Thalia thinks Bode hung the moon....you better get over here and fight for your Man..hint hint.

The Real Stuff!

Yesterday we woke up to a WINTER WONDERLAND! It snowed..it dumped...it left us covered in white. With 3ft. of white fluffy stuff outside the door who can resisit.....the ski bug has bitten.
Now my only delema is my BIG MAMA BELLY!

Two lives, one path.

Dear Stacie and Lonz,
We are so happy for you and wish you all the best
as you begin to travel the road of life together
as husband and wife.
Remember ~
Live well. Laugh often. Love much.

First snow....

the only problem is that it's inside the house.... EVERYWHERE! Yes we received another package (thanks Dad & Jeanne for the beautiful blankets and other goodies. We love them.) and it was full of "packing peanuts"....Bode's favorite! Let's just say, I'll be finding pieces of these babies for months to come. But hey he had fun and that's what counts right?!?!

Tummy lovin'

This post is for Mama K. I know I've said over and over that I would get the web-cam up and running so you can see my tummy...and I will, but this will have to do for now. We love you!

Bode & Tim

The other day we tended the newest addition to the Kaufmann Family tree, Tim. Bode loves having his cousin over . It's pictures like these that let's his mommy know he will be a GREAT big brother.

Im Wald...

Just up the road from our house is a forest where we have created so many fond memories. It has been a place where Mandel and I have visited often over the years and enjoy it even more now as a family.
It offers peace, nature, and beauty all in one. There are many Sunday afternoons where our family can be found there.

Corner Office

Mandel is a Zimmermann ...a Carpenter...but more importantly, he's a man who gets to do something that he really enjoys....and let's face it, is there anyone who would disagree after seeing the view from his "corner office"?

Bode and I went up to Männlichen to visit him on the job one beautiful fall day. Bode loved watching daddy use the big crane and even got to sit behind the wheel himself, which of course was a huge highlight.
